Soap Social hits the High Desert

Sweet Treasure Shack's Official Birthday Party

We hosted our 2nd Annual Soap Social on September 10, 2016.  As tradition goes, everyone that came got to cut their own bar of soap to keep for free.  In addition to a free bar of soap, people got a bag to fill with free soap that came from the Soapinata.    This year we extended our space to local vendors which was a huge success.

A secret sale was offered to everyone that came to the Soap Social.  A once-a-year type of sale: Meadowcated Essential Oil Lotion and Cali Essential Oil Lotion were each 50% off that day only.   Sweet Treasure Shack was so busy, it felt like holidays in the mall.

Everyone had smiles, and we are very happy with how it turned out.   Thank you to everyone that came out, and a special thanks to our friends and family that helped us get ready for the Soap Social.  We could not have done it without you!

If you have any photos from Soap Social, feel free to email them to manager@sweettreasureshack.com and we will add them to our collection.
When uploading to social media, please add the hashtags #soapsocial  and   #sweettreasureshack

Soapinata

There was about 10 pounds of soap everyone got to scramble for once the Soapinata broke.  Highlight from the Soapinata:  The kids did the hard work... then Juanita stole the show :-)

Vendors

We opened our patio to creative vendors and our customers loved being able to shop for other crafty items during the Soap Social.  In addition to the jewelry and solar lights below, we had a book vendor, Alex Mariani.

Mesquite Trails Elementary School
(Official Sponsor of the 2nd Annual Soap Social)

Natalie Moncada, a teacher at Mesquite Trails Elementary School, is always going above and beyond to help her students and the community. She arranged for Sweet Treasure Shack to borrow the school's chairs for the Soap Social, and we are so thankful!  Mrs. Moncada had a booth at Sweet Treasure Shack's Soap Social to raise money for the Mrs. Sylvia Lopez-Butler Memorial Scholarship Fund. She is raffling away a basket valued over $360.00 in Super Hero Marvel/DC characters. Raffle tickets are $1.00 each and the winner will be drawn the first Friday in October.  Proceeds go to scholarships for Mesquite Trails Elementary 6th graders.  If you would like to buy raffle tickets, contact Natalie Moncada at Mesquite Trails Elementary School.

Natalie, her husband Adrian and daughter Katie helped setup the Soap Social.  Thank you so much to the Moncada Family for their continued support!

The Treasure Arch

The Treasure Arch continues to be a beautiful addition to our store. We built this arch as official sponsors of The Marvin Wedding that took place on May 15, 2016.  We wish these beautiful brides a wonderful life filled with love and success.  Sweet Treasure Shack believes in love and equality for all.
